Herd 360 Elite Chewproof Battery Box Wiring Kit We've made it even easier to build a trail camera external 12v battery box by simplifying the installation and adding a stainless steel waterproof through the box mount and screw on connector so you can change cables as needed. For installation you will need a drill, step drill bit to drill a 5/8" hole and wrench or 18mm socket to tighten the mounting nut. (I found the best price on a step bit at Harbor Freight).  Dealing with broken and shorted power cords created by squirrels and mice chewing on the cord forced me to develop the only Armor covered cable on the market.
