The Artemide variety is the result of a natural combination between Venere rice (medium grain and black pericarp) and an Indica-type rice (long and narrow grain and white pericarp). It is a brown, aromatic rice that is black in color. Artemide Rice has an intense and pleasant aroma and its grain has a nice elongated shape. Given its close connection with Venere rice, it is rich in iron and selenium – the latter being very important for its antioxidant properties.
