Nicaragua Snapback Blackout Edition
Baseball was first introduced to Nicaragua in the 1880’s. The first official documented organized game took place in 1891 between a team from its capital Managua and a team from the coastal city of Granada. The early 1900’s saw the beautiful game flourish and become part of the Nicaraguan identity. Through political unrest and economic depression Nicaraguan’s have kept the baseball passion alive. Today the Liga de Béisbol Profesional National (LBPN) that was originally founded in 1956 keeps organized baseball culture thriving and breeds new fans. Fifteen Nicaraguan born players have made it to the Big Leagues. Our Nicaraguan inspired hat represents all those Nicaraguans that have ever laced up the cleats and buttoned up the blue & white uniforms.
