Polaron: Ultra Compact FTDI USB to TTL Converter
Plug the Polaron into your computer's USB port to upload Arduino program sketches into your Proboard 328P or Proboard PB. Each unit comes with an interconnecting sketch upload cable which can also be purchased separately. Polaron's Transistor Transistor Logic (TTL) connector is polarized to prevent reversed connections, but it also works fine using generic non-polarized jumper wires. The design includes a genuine FTDI chip, so there is no need to install a driver into Windows. It has an extra robust 3.3V regulator onboard, and a self-resetting fuse for safety. It can supply either 5.0V or 3.3V for powering breadboard projects. The reset signal for uploading Arduino sketches can be switched to either DTR or RTS mode. Check out the datasheet for more information. ------------------- Moyina Description: Built-in a new and original FTDI IC device ‘FT232RL’, which handles all the USB signalling and protocols. TTL levels of +5V and +3.3V adjustable design, and draws power directly from you
