Pastel Rainbow Geode
Pastel Rainbow Geode Ice Dyed – Geode Technique Pastel Rainbow Geode is where softness meets structure. Hand folded and bound using my geode technique, this piece was ice dyed to create layered, stone-like banding that mimics the inside of a cracked crystal. As the ice melted, color traveled through each section naturally — forming glowing arcs of pastel rainbow against soft lavender, sky blue, and creamy white negative space. The result feels like a gemstone you can wear. Delicate lines form organic “cracks” throughout the design — just like a real geode — while bands of blush pink, butter yellow, mint green, and soft violet curve across the fabric in luminous layers. This design feels like:• A crystal split open in sunlight• Rainbow light refracting through quartz• Soft energy with grounded structure• Pastel power Each geode fold is placed by hand. Each layer of color develops through melting ice and gravity. No two will ever fracture the same way.
