Wedges: HH Perkins' wedges are sold as a set of 5. 4 are used to push the cane webbing in the groove. The 5th wedge is used upside down to tap the spline into the groove, after the webbing is installed. The wedges are wood and are reusable. They are required for furniture restoration, and repairs. Wedges and Cane Webbing should always be used together. They help slide the material into place and prevent sagging.
