The sensor features a 14-bit A/D conversion with a superior signal-to-noise ratio so that you will be able to achieve clear, high-resolution images. You can use it for recording 1080p broadcast-quality video at 30p. Its low-pass filter is not configured with anti-aliasing properties so that optimum sharpness in NEF files can be achieved. Hence, you won?t need to spend too much time on post-production when dealing with NEF raw files only.
