Grade 8 Lock Washer - Yellow Zinc

High Alloy Helical Spring Lock Washers, also known as Grade 8, are made from Alloy Steel.  They are designed for use with Grade 5 and Grade 8 Bolts.  Lock Washers are a hardened, coil shaped, split circular washer.  They are primarily used to apply greater bolt tension to the unit for which they are applied. They resist loosening caused by vibration and provide a uniform load distribution.
