Number (N) ine AW06 "Noir" Bondage Pants A mainstay in the world of Japanese fashion, Takahiro Miyashita’s Number (N)ine has always looked towards music for inspiration for his grunge-streetwear themed collections.  However, for his Autumn/Winter 2006 collection titled “NOIR,” Miyashita shifted away from his musical influences, choosing to instead focus on tailoring and garment construction. Featuring a primarily monochromatic palette of black and grey, the collection puts a heavy emphasis on silhouettes and layering. The result was a beautiful collection of meticulously crafted, and detailed garments which have endured popularity to this day.  From the collection, this pair of pants features the signature Number (N)ine heart leather patch, a plethora of functional RiRi zippers, and bondage straps.
