Waterglassed Eggs

Fresh eggs can be preserved for winter use! Each jar holds approximately 18 eggs. Kept in a cool location away from light, these eggs will last 12-18 months, but I usually have them used up within 6. Our clean unwashed eggs are placed in a pickling lime solution. This method was used by our great grandparents since the 1800's. They look beautiful on the pantry shelf. I love having these eggs available for baking and scrambling. We have a limited number of jars available, so pre-ordering is a wise thing to do. They will be available for pick up July through October.
