Vitruvian man (Latin homo vitruvianus) is a representation of man according to the idealised proportions formulated by the ancient architect and engineer Vitruv(ius). The most famous example is a 34.4 cm × 24.5 cm drawing by Leonardo da Vinci, made around 1490. It is a sketch with notes from one of his diaries showing a man with outstretched extremities in two superimposed positions. © With permission of MiBACT - Gallerie dell Accademia di VeneziaMaterial composition: 83% cotton, 15% polyamide, 2% elastaneCountry of origin: Italy
