This module can work with the PSG audio hardware built-into a stock Game Gear console (PSG mixing), or independently. This module works ONLY with the SEGA Master System games (when played on your Game Gear handheld) that have been developed to support FM sound output. The Yamaha YM2413 chip is very difficult to get, so only limited stock of this product is available!
