Higher Things® Sanctified Vacation Bible School 2019

The Higher Things® Sanctified Vacation Bible School (VBS) focuses on the Ten Commandments. We have taken the approach of simply letting the Lord’s Words and the Catechism teach what the Ten Commandments are. Even children of Preschool age are not too young to answer the question, “What is the First Commandment?” with the answer that it is “You shall have no other gods.”All Higher Things® VBS programs are packed with features including... Opening and Closing Worship using Daily Orders of Prayer adapted from those found in Lutheran Service Book. Bible Breakaways that teach and reinforce the day's Bible story in a fun and humorous way. Catechism Study where participants will attend various restaurants and dinner parties as they learn about what gifts Jesus gives Confession and Absolution. Snacks, Games, and Crafts that all reinforce the theme of the day with opportunities for discussing "What Does This Mean?"
