Chartreuse Velvet Underglaze is a lime green color that is very bright at cone 05, softens to a mint green at cone 5, and darkens slightly at cone 10. A clear glaze accentuates the color of the underglaze significantly at any temperature. If AMACO Velvets are used for food or drink, they must be covered by a dinnerware-safe clear glaze and fired properly. Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination. Price is per two-ounce bottle.
