Radiant Red Velvet Underglaze is a bright scarlet color that is vivid at cone 05, deepens at cone 5, and becomes a slightly glossy, deep fire-engine red at cone 10. A clear glaze accentuates the color of the underglaze nicely at any temperature. If AMACO Velvets are used for food or drink, they must be covered by a dinnerware-safe clear glaze and fired properly. Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination. Price is per two-ounce bottle.
