Red Brown Velvet Underglaze is a warm cocoa color that is reddish at cone 05. The color darkens at cone 05, and becomes chocolatey at cone 10. A clear glaze deepens the color of the underglaze significantly at any temperature. If AMACO Velvets are used for food or drink, they must be covered by a dinnerware-safe clear glaze and fired properly. Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination. Price is per two-ounce bottle.
