Table Runners

Hand block-printed table-runners, 13” x 60”. Each is reversible with a complementary print on the reverse. Carefully hand block printed using blocks hand carved from sheesham wood. Each color and motif is printed with a different block. This means that as many as 16 blocks could be used to create a 5-color design.  A set of blocks last on an average for 1,500 to 2,000 yards of fabric; after that, some need to be replaced. The colors used in these table linens are derived from non-toxic chemicals (AZO-free dyes), mineral dyes and vegetable dyes. Chemical dyes have replaced traditional vegetable dyes as they are more color-fast and longer-lasting.  The table-runners are 100% Cotton, so they will be wrinkled slightly when you remove them from the dryer. Machine wash cold, and tumble dry or line dry. As each piece is hand-worked, colors and sizing may vary slightly from what is pictured here.
