'Shirley Temple' has blush-pink blooms, the tone of which could only be found otherwise on Shirley Temple's cheeks. Reliable and vigorous, this mid-season bloomer, the fragrant, 6-7" blooms are fully double and attract pollinators. Sold as a dormant root, most with 3-5 eyes. Plant in the fall or spring, with the eyes of the root just below the surface of the ground and cover with 2" of mulch. Peonies are deer-resistant and very cold hardy, suitable for USDA zones 3-8.
