3 Hoop Petals With Lapis Earrings

I joined 3 Silver clay Hoops textured with chrysanthemum petal texture around a center circle and positioned a bezel on the circle securing it with silver paste. It was fired in the kiln at 1650 degrees F for 2 hours. What came out was pure 999 Silver. I burnished all the hoop petals with 24K Gold foil using an ancient Korean technique called Keumboo. I painted patina on the lower two petals for contrast. I got lovely gold and copper colors. I tapped in the Lapis cabochon into the bezel.  I have used sterling silver lever backs instead of ear wires. These can be replaced with comfortable sterling silver clip ons for an additional charge.
