Not One of the Cool Kids on Hand Dyed Targhee Wool Worsted Yarn - 230 yd/100g

Not One of the Cool Kids is a variegated colorway featuring mallard green, periwinkle, teal and spruce. Targhee is a breed of sheep developed in the United States by the United States Department of Agriculture to be a dual purpose breed - meaning the fleece is lovely to use and the meat is tasty to eat.  Targhee wool is next to skin soft and incredibly bouncy and full of squish factor as well as being incredibly durable.  I fell in love with it as a handspinner and it's a pleasure for me to be able to offer it to non-spinners as an incredible hand dyed yarn. Targhee worsted is 230 yards per 3.5 oz/100g and knits up at 4 stitches to the inch on a US 6-8 (4.0 - 5.0 mm).  It is a 3 ply construction and is handwash only (This yarn will felt!).   Dyed in small batches using heavy metal free acid dyes in Allison Park, PA.  The yarn is 100% Made in the USA from sheep to skein.
