Weld-On Frame Hardtail for 1952-1972 Harley Sportster - V-Twin Mfg.

51-0921 Weld-On Frame Hardtail Reference #'s (if avaliable): Fits: 1952-1972 Harley Sportster XL Frame hardtail replaces shocks on swingarm frames and is drum brake type. Unit should be aligned for chain clearance prior to final welding. DIY hardtailing is easy to install as the alignment is accomplished in the mount design provided. The distance between the inside to inside of the axle plate is 9-5/16". Custom application on 1952-1972 XL. Welding should be performed by a skilled welding technician. The width of the tail section should be exactly 9-1/8".
