Size: 21" x 29.5" Weight: 21.4 g/m² While preparing the kozo bark for Sekishu paper, the middle bark layer is not removed; this makes for a stronger paper and darker color than other kizuki papers. Sekishu paper is suitable for hinging, mending and backing. HPI carries two Sekishu Banshi papers: TSURU and MARE. TSURU is made from machine-beaten kozo and dried on a dryer, while MARE is made from hand-beaten kozo and dried on wood boards. Handmade from 100% Japanese Kozo in Shimane, Japan by So Kubota.
