He worked alongside Frank Lloyd Wright at Louis Sullivan's office, then worked as Wright's chief draftsman on many of Wright's most important early works. Drummond's design for a home for Ralph Baker has a luminous and crystalline elegance. The centrally placed living room connects with all the major spaces of the house.
