An Antique Belgian Bluestone DOG BOWL Vessel Sink PS27

Provenance: Leuven, Belgium Circa: 18th Century Material:  Hand Carved Belgian Bluestone Dimensions: 12" diameter x 7" high x 4 1/2" deep Weight of basin: 59 pounds "Should we use this as a dog bowl?" or an adorable powder room sink with a few pewter dog figurines by its side?  Perhaps the latter!  This antique Belgian bluestone vessel has a beautiful patina of more saturated blue gray tones.  The exterior is a soft chisel, worn from time and the interior has a molded organic surface that shows excellent patina.  It's a structural, artistic marvel. Recommended Sealer after Installation:  Akemi Stain Repellent Nano Effect for French Limestone and Belgian Bluestone Flooring  Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.     Disclaimer - these artisan, antique focal point, stone basin sinks are not install ready.  A qualified plumber/artisan will need to add the proper drain and overflow holes.
