This spacer shim is often used to make space for mite treatments and also for housing candy boards or fondant. It is glued and stapled for strength and is 1-7/8 inches tall, much deeper than other shims available. This allows you to pack in a lot more sugar/fondant for winter. Available to fit 10 frame or 8 frame Langstroth hives. Made of premium pine.
