Officially Rated 10,000-lbs Tensile Strength Tow Point per Table 4 SAE J684 Introducing Jeep Wrangler JK/JL/JT factory hook replacement Shackle Tab Kit, designed and manufactured by HK Offroad.  JK Replaces factory hooks, JL/JT Replaces or adds to the factory open ended hook with solid 3/4" thick Shackle tabs.The shackle tab is welded to 3/8" base plate mounted to factory frame mounting location using 1/2" grade-8 hardware. The shackle tab also has 1/4" gussets on its sides for side-pull load support. Includes steel cover which replaces plastic cover on JL Rubicon Bumpers.  Fits JL and JT factory Steel Rubicon bumpers. Cutting of the 16 gauge steel tube (crush can)  located on the fog-light housing is required as the shackle tab kit replaces the crush can.  Installation instructions available for JL/JT only.
