Custom OSF MK2
The OSF, or "Open Source Folder," has always been a knife with a soul and a massive following. It was born from an idea that knifemaking knowledge should be shared, not siloed. Back in 2010, after countless hours spent researching folding knife mechanisms and lock geometry, I wanted to give back to the community. I set out to translate that knowledge into a solid, proven model. The goal was to create a finished design that could serve as a launchpad for anyone wanting to build their own awesome knife. We designed the OSF to be built with simple tools—no CNC machine necessary. All an aspiring maker needs is a waterjet-cut blank, a drill, and some taps to start their journey. It's a blueprint for craftsmanship. The design itself is a testament to functional purity, featuring a versatile modified sheep's foot blade and a meticulously engineered frame. Its single-point rear standoff is robust enough to handle serious stress, yet streamlined to maximize the blade-to-handle ratio. The OSF
