Hobbes FC-2009 Fiber Checker Pro ll Visual Fault Locator (VFL) is a useful tool to check for defects, faults, continuity, signal path, and identifying fiber cables. It's capable of testing single-mode, multimode and plastic fiber cables. It is designed with a universal interface for testing ST, SC, FC, and FDDA cables. It also has an optional 2.5mm - 1.25mm adaptor (see Part# FC-2009A) for testing LC cables. Fiber Checker Pro II is designed with a remarkable power circuit that delivers a steady power to avoid unstable laser output when needed most. It offers 2 output modes: CW Mode (Continuous) or PW Mode (Pulse) to easily distinguish and visually determine the fiber cable and/or cable faults in various settings. With its durability, rugged, and compact design, the Fiber Checker Pro II can withstand extreme temperatures, dust, water, and common accidental incidents (ex: dropping and eye exposures).
