Lindberg Model Ships 1/250 Barbary Pirate Ship Kit
From the sails to the oars…this kit is ship-shape! The Barbary Coast was the name given to the Northern Coast of Africa during the 16th to 19th century – now part of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya. One of the most romantic types of sailing ships of that time was the Barbary Coast Felucca. A shortened version of a galley; it is recognizable by its two lateen sails and its 16-20 long oars protruding out its sides. Though referred to as the Barbary Pirates the crew of these ships always considered themselves properly commissioned men-of-war. This kit from Lindberg offers a detailed 4 ¾” replica of the distinctive sailing ship. It features details like wood grain, injected plastic sails and decals for the sail, nameplate and flags. Detailed kit captures wood grain, sails and flags Decal sheet and illustrated assembly guide included
