1940s Tissot Chronograph
Why This Watch Matters How can you say no to a gorgeous two-register chronograph from the 1940s? The Full Story Breitling was the first to offer two pushers on the chronograph in the early 1930s, but in the following decade other brands had caught up. This Tissot proves that the legibility of the dial was not forgotten, offering a nice tachymeter scale on the outer edge of the dial. This example also has the 3-minute increments in the right sub-register that were crucial if you were to make an International call. All of this is housed in a slim 35mm case that still does wonders to this day.
