Boss RE-20, Space Echo Pedal

The BOSS RE-20 Space Echo Pedal achieves the same warm echo sound, but without the clunky form factor or rigorous maintenance of a real tape echo. The RE-20 maintains the signature tape wow and flutter sounds of the RE-201, as well as the input saturation and reverb applied to the echoes. While the sound is vintage, the functionality is not. Sounds can be manipulated in real time using the tap-tempo function or a separately available expression pedal like the Roland EV-5. 11 modes are available via the Mode Selector switch, varying the combination of reverb and echo, as well as offering reverb only. The RE-20 can operate in mono or stereo signal chains with its dual 1/4" inputs and outputs. Front panel controls include Input Volume, a Mode Selector, Echo Volume, Intensity, Repeat Rate, Bass, Treble, and Reverb Volume.
