Bryston 4B ST - All The Power From The Great White North!
The Canadian-made Bryston, 4B ST Power Amplifier is a 250 watt per/channel @ 8ohm powerhouse. The basic design was initially introduced in 1972 and has been a staple for the company since its founding 50+ years ago, with some tweaks along the way. The 4B ST is a modified Class A/AB amplifier which launched in the late 1980s. It features a very stable output stage, one dedicated for each channel, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 108 dB. This “dual-mono” layout allows for exceptional stereo separation. The amplifier can also be run bridged for 600 watts of total output power into one speaker. It has a solid-state design with a wide bandwidth and low output impedance. The 4B ST is known for its high-end sound quality. Input: Balanced or Single Ended input connectors for each channel Gain: 29 db (1v) or 23 db (2v) for each channel Power Control: Soft Start circuitry to eliminate high inrush currents who power is applied Remote Control: Can be activated by RC voltage Construction: Sepa
