Denon DRA-425R, Great Sounding Entry-Level Receiver
The Denon DRA-425R is a stereo receiver with powerful amplification and precise audio reproduction. Sporting 50 watts per channel of very clean power, the receiver is a very capable performer and able to comfortably handle challenging 4 ohm speaker loads. It features a variety of inputs and outputs, including multiple audio inputs and a dedicated phono input for turntable connection. Uniquely, the DRA-425R also features a variable Loudness control, in addition to standard tone controls for even greater adjustability. The amp can drive two sets of speakers easily. It also features an excellent AM/FM Stereo tuner that pulls stations in very cleanly. Finally, the amplifier output stage, inout components, and power components are carefully positioned within the unit; reducing interference between these key components while in operation. This is a great entry-level receiver from 1991 that still sounds fantastic and is ready to run for many more years to come. Demos are encouraged in L
