Orin's Calico Isopods for sale! Origins: P. scaber are hard bodied isopods native to Europe. Unique characteristics provide gorgeous patterns of yellow, orange, red, black color combinations. Not too many look the same. A very hardy species that produces quickly once established. Colors and patterns vary. This morph is originally produced by Orin Mcmonigle (the author of many books including topics such as isopods and zoology).  Habitat: prefer low to moderate humidity, but are very tolerant of humid conditions which helps if it starts to dry a little bit (68-78°F). Ensure they have their hydration station setup in a corner (moist sphagnum moss). Recommended substrate depth 2-3". Recommended use: Bearded Dragon enclosures, Bone Cleaning (skulls), feeders (for larger animals).
