Armadillidium klugii 'Pudding' Isopods for Sale!Origins: A. klugii were originally collected in the Balkan regions of Europe in a country called Montenegro. They are a medium-sized isopod species named after their colorful spotted patterns. Though each klugii has unique characteristics, most feature white and yellow spots which led to their colorful common name 'Clowns'. Our Pudding isopods are morphs of the Montenegro Clown line; however, they dropped their reddish skirts.Habitat: Prefer a dryer semi-arid warm environment overall (73-78°F). They may have issues molting in tropical environments. With any isopod, please ensure they have adequate humidity (50%+) while maintaining ventilation. Recommended substrate depth 2-3'. Prefers Cork Bark for hides.
