WYSIWYG -  Aproz. 6-7”  Stunning and very unique color variant!    Acanthophyllia deshayesiana corals, also known as “meat corals” or “doughnut corals,” are large, fleshy, single-polyp stony corals admired for their striking colors and impressive size, making them standout showpieces in reef aquariums. These corals are generally hardy but require stable conditions and thoughtful placement to thrive. Acanthophyllia prefer low to moderate lighting—too much light can cause bleaching—and gentle, indirect water flow to avoid tissue damage from excessive movement. Ideal water parameters include a temperature of 76–80°F (24–27°C), salinity at 1.025 specific gravity, pH between 8.1–8.4, alkalinity at 8–12 dKH, calcium between 400–450 ppm, and magnesium at 1250–1350 ppm. They are photosynthetic but benefit greatly from weekly target feedings of meaty foods like mysis shrimp, finely chopped seafood, or specialized LPS foods, which help support their large tissue mass and vibrant coloration.
