It prefers full sun but can tolerate light shade. It is drought-tolerant and requires little water once established. It is deer-resistant and can be used as a privacy hedge or screen. It can also be used as a specimen plant or in a rock garden. Here are some of the care requirements for Blue Point Juniper: Plant in full sun or light shade. Water deeply once a week during the first growing season, then water deeply once a month during the growing season. Fertilize in spring with a balanced fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to shape or control the size. Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit.
