Homestedt British Wool Cable Knit Sweater - Green

A classic sweater in a chunky green cable knit inspired by classic Scottish and Irish sweaters. These sweaters are built to deliver exceptional warmth for a lifetime. Made from almost 1.2 and 2lb of natural, minimally processed long fibre wool you can expect these sweaters to be soft, but not exceptionally soft like cashmere or merino, so we advise caution if you have a high sensitivity to natural wool. Additionally, as these are made the traditional way you can expect a faint ‘sheepy’ fragrance on the sweaters. This is due to the wool being minimally processed leaving traces of lanolin, the natural oils found in sheep’s wool which improve water resistance and longevity. We find this to be quite pleasant, and many of our customers agree and find it to be reassuring to know their clothing has been minimally processed, but it’s worth noting here.
