Homestedt British Wool Nordic Sweater - White

Classic white and dark navy Nordic fisherman sweater made in England from 100% Lancashire wool and inspired by classic Nordic rag wool / Birdseye styling.  These sweaters are heavyweight and built to deliver exceptional warmth for a lifetime. Made from almost 1.3 and 2.3lb of natural, minimally processed long fibre wool (depending on the style and size) you can expect these sweaters to be soft, but not exceptionally soft like cashmere or merino, so we advise caution if you have a high sensitivity to natural wool. Additionally, as these are made the traditional way you can expect a faint ‘sheepy’ fragrance on the sweaters. This is due to the wool being minimally processed leaving traces of lanolin, the natural oils found in sheep’s wool which improve water resistance and longevity. We find this to be quite pleasant, and many of our customers agree and find it to be reassuring to know their clothing has been minimally processed, but it’s worth noting here.
