Gym Circus, August 1945

Very impressive. Not just the god-like physique and handsome face, or the fact that Fred lifts 260 lbs. overhead. There's a huge (mostly male) audience to appreciate it. Black and white print with gloss finish. Handwritten in the border: Gym Circus 21 Aug 11, 1945; Fred Gussel --- 260 lbs. 5" x 4," with cut corners. Stamped on verso: "Official Photo U.S.A.A.F. by AAF Training Command." (That's US Army Air Force, predecessor to the Air Force). Very good condition with remnants of photo album paper on verso.
