Winter Rainbow

A lively and intricate exploration of texture and color grounded in solid white fabric, this design perfectly captures the joy and excitement of the changing seasons. Designed by Camilla Cowen for our 20x20 21st Anniversary Exhibition. Every cent of every piece sold goes back to our associates in Honduras. Every day, these women expertly craft table runners, pillow covers, shawls, and other fiber arts items. Their income from each sale covers food and medical needs for their whole family, and school supplies and transportation to school for their children.  Ultimately, this work creates dignity and self-respect. Camilla Cowan is an abstract painter and printmaker in Dallas. A Tyler native, Ms. Cowan received her BFA in journalism from SMU in 1972 and worked for 25 years in the newspaper business, most recently at The Dallas Morning News. She left the News in 2001 and returned to SMU to take undergraduate classes in studio art – painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking. She is in
