SESAME SEED (GINGELLI): Sesamum indicum   Obtained from: The sesame seed. Extracted by: Solvent free cold pressing. Seeds contain 60% oil. Properties: Natural antioxidant. It has a rich yellow color and although it keeps well, its odor can be offensive. Rich in vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, proteins, amino acids and lecithin. Antifungal. Contains: 35-50% oleic acid; 35-50% linoleic acid. Suitable for: Internal use and external application. An emollient suitable for all skin types. Beneficial for: The treatment of dry eczema and psoriasis, as well as arthritis and rheumatism. Uses: Useful as a base for moisturizing creams, tropical suntan lotions, facial cleansers, and lipsticks. Washes out of towels and linen easily.
