Raw Unrefined Nigerian Shea Butter

Shea Butter popularly known as ‘Ori’ in Yoruba language of Nigeria is a vegetable fat derived from the nuts or seeds of the African Shea tree. The Shea tree is quite common and grows naturally in the West African Savannah and in other parts of Africa. In total, it can be found in twenty-one countries across the continent of Africa.  As a Nigerian, having tried different Shea butters sourced here in the US, I realized that the Shea butter I know and used while growing up in Nigeria is more authentic, raw, unrefined and has all the skin loving benefits found in the original Shea butter we have back home in Nigeria. This made me go back to the source (Nigeria) to bring the raw unrefined shea butter to use in our products and sell to our lovely customers here in the US.
