I played two years at Murray State College and finished my last two years at The University of Arkansas-Monticello. I come from a coaching family, my dad Terry Whatley coached at Katy, Mabank, and Garland High schools under Joe Martin. My brother Matt is currently the Head Baseball coach at W.T.
