Brandi Donan, Chanttanooga, TN Oil As a contemporary impressionist painter, Brandi Donan paints subjects that capture the essence of life in an intimate way.  Her goal is to evoke powerful emotion among her audience.  Brandi's loose style of painting depicts bold energy of movement with her expressive brush strokes.   Brandi has been involved in some form of art her entire life.  As a child, she was always creating something with her hands.  Her grandmother was a huge influence as she watched her paint while she was growing up. In 1999, she focused her interest in getting a nursing degree and then several years later her and her husband moved to Chattanooga, TN.  In 2012, she decided to pursue a full-time art career.  When she is not painting, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and chasing her son Ean around.   Brandi has studied under nationally known artists such as Chris Groves, Mia Bergeron, and Rose Franzen.
