Stiff goldenrod is sun-loving (full sun to partial) plant that handles dry to medium moisture soils. It spreads, which means it's often competitive and has the will to fill out a meadow. Very useful in the right context! Goldenrod is a workhorse of the native flower garden, providing ample food to insects late in the season.
