Words of the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people: "The enemy is a very good teacher."   It has been said that we learn the most from opposites. Because we have to adapt.  We have to reconcile something different and threatening to us with ourselves    Think about you favorite stories. The hero has no real or meaningful story until a villian introduced.  The hero needs a problem. An enemy.    This is one of the great paradoxes of life; that your enemy may ultimatlely lead you to develop the strength, knowledge and fortitude to become something more than you are now.   In the end, you might see that an encounter with the enemy was neccesary.   You might even feel gratitude for them.    Of course, this does not mean you run head on into enemy terriotory without a plan or support.    But sometimes, you do not choose to encounter evil. And when you do, and if you survive, you can become the hero who learns and adapts and saves others from the same terrible fate.    The en
