The lake consists of two distinct branches connected by a culvert, with the North Branch covering 653 acres and reaching depths up to 100 feet, while the larger South Branch spans 1,213 acres and plunges to an impressive maximum depth of 134 feet, making it one of the deepest lakes in the region.
