Beef Deposit – Dunbar Meat Packing Co 01/07/2026 Deposits are $100 per quarter of beef plus applicable fees. If you want to purchase more than a quarter, please add the quantity you desire in quarter beef increments. The deposit will go towards your final balance. Freezer beef will be charged $3.50 per pound of hanging weight by Horning Farms. Butcher fees are set by and charged by the processor. Dunbar Meat Packing Co. is charging approximately $0.80 per pound hanging weight for custom-cut halves and wholes. Standard cuts for quarters, halves, and wholes are discounted at $0.03. The standard cut sheet and custom cutting options are pictured. Hanging weights can vary; we are averaging 850 pounds for a whole beef. The Process of Buying Freezer Beef 1.
