36 diodes. Does not require “Top” positioning to meet FMVSS 108 standards. Lights have hardwired leads with a built-in PL3 3-wire adapter plug, except for M417R and M418R, which have stripped leads. V417KR kit includes 417R-P light and 426-18 mounting grommet. Hardwired design. Designed and engineered in USA. Assembled in USA using domestic and imported components. Original 36-diode Piranha multi-diode lens look. 418 has flange welded to light, forming a single unit. 417 has skirted weld joint for added protection against moisture. 9-16 volt operating range. Reverse voltage protection prevents damage if mis-installed.
